Barbs

Barbs are active schooling fish, excellent for adding movement, colour & activity to a fish tank. Tiger Barbs are a popular fish for community aquariums housing other busy & robust species, however the Tiger Barb & many other Barb species can nip at long fins on slower fish & some species such as the Tinfoil Barb can reach a large size. Barbs will enjoy being kept in groups of 5 or more, this keeps them as a school & reduces the risk of them nipping other species in the tank.
